Wind of change :)

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 18, 2008, 1:23 AM
  • Mood: Tired

  • Reading: Keys for identification of bark beetles
Hello everyone! It is time for a "little" changes.

First of all, me and my wife decided to combine our DA galleries. First reason is that we always present our works together, without signig who is the autor of which photo. Second. My wife doesn't have time for editing and uploading her pictures (which are fantastic :D ). So the solution is simple. From today all new works at "dark-raptor gallery" are OURS not MINE :D

Another happy news... finally I've got Nikon D200! I always wanted to have camera like this :D

--------------------EXHIBITION------------------------
Finally me and my wife start a new year with a new exhibition. From 16th of March to 27th April we are presenting amphibians and reptiles pictures in Botanical Garden - Center for Biological Diversity Conservation of the Polish Academy of Sciences,
Warsaw Poland. Exhibition is titled "Green as frog?" and is opened from 10.00 to 18.00 everyday.

---------------------WYSTAWA-----------------------

I love your spiders. And this is coming from someone who hates spiders. =)

I've learned that when it comes to art, people often ask for a critique but what they really want is a blowjob.

I've been testing Canon 400D few days ago but I've never had D40 in my hands. The most important difference is that N hasn't got AF engine in the body and you have to use all older lenses with manual focus. Canon have lower noise at highier ISO and larger sensor (10Mpx vs 6mpx in D40). If you are thinking about Nikon it is better to get D40x or D60.
