That's a great shot. Very clear and sharpen.
I recently bought the micro 105mm f/2.8 but macro photography seems harder than what I expected...

Thank you :)

The worse problem is the light. If you solve it, life will be much easier ;) Check this:

With this stuff you can take macro shots with shutter speed 1/250 or shorter without tripod. And of course forgetabou using AF. It is better to get focus just by moving your camera closer or in oposite dirction to object.

Your diffuser is amazing.
The main difficulty that I've been feeling when using my macro lens is precisely to get a focused and correct exposure.
I use manual focus but a very small movement is enough to unfocused the shot... And most of the time, a tripod isn't very handy...
I think that I also need to buy an external flash...

Thanks :)

Correctly chosen background and composition, appertures between f10-18 (sometimes f20-25). I think that are the most important things.

Both are very good, and as I know Sigma is relatively cheaper.

I love these little guys. In Texas we have some jumping spiders that are black with white spots on them - not nearly as cute, though.

I'd like to get some of the species from US like Phidippus audax and similar. We haven't got any metallic specie except few Heliophanus species.

As soon as I learn what exactly those are, I'll see if I can find some and send them to you! :-)

You do amazing work, and educate and thrill along the way.

That would be fantastic, except we've got winter here and I don't know how long packages from US travel to Europe

Thank you :)
