Oczywiście, że są. To dość pospolity gatunek. Po naszemu - kołosz szczelinowy. Ten okaz został znaleziony na Mazurach. Młode wykluło się już u nas w hodowli :)

W tej chwili, z racji braku stałego adresu zameldowania, trzymamy w mieszkaniu tylko kilkanaście krajowych gatunków. W pracy trzymam jeszcze ok. 10 ptaszników :)

Jak na razie żaden nas nie ukąsił. A biegających troszkę już było :D

Tam gdzie w domu są pająki, tam nie ma "szkodników" ;)

Niektóre gatunki tak... powiedziałbym, że poświęcają swoje życie. Np. u Eresidae samica żyje z samcem, gdy ten padnie zostaje zjedzony (ale po śmierci!), samica zostaje z kokonem i sama pada po wykluciu się młodych. Jej ciało jest pierwszym posiłkiem małych. Spotykane jest to u wielu pająków. U pogońców (Lycosidae) samica wozi młode na grzbiecie, podobno też spożywa z nimi pokarm. Sporo gatunków poprzestaje na opiece nad kokonem, czasem krótko nad młodymi. Większość zostawia złożone jaja i nie wykazuje najmniejszych instynktów rodzicielskich.
