Close relative of "real" scorpiones and other arachnids. This specimen reaches 2mm and lives under the bark of the trees. It feeds on smaller invertebrates like mites and colembollans.

I like these little beasties, I remember finding them when I was a kid and no one believed me that tiny 'stingless scorpions' lived in rotting logs in northern BC

Yes. The funniest thing that sometimes they can be found in houses, in old books, where they hunt small Psocoptera insects.

I had to look up Psocoptera, and I feel myself slightly more informed in the world of insects than I was a moment ago ;)

I'll try to upload one picture with Psocoptera insects we found last year. They look really funny when moving in large groups.
